Our first speaker in our mid-week Lenten series "What is God like: discipleship stories from The Way” is Matthew Martin. Matthew grew up in Marble Falls and as part of St. Peter’s. He is currently a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in May with a degree in International Relations and a minor in Spanish. Matthew will be reflecting on “guiding,” a characteristic of God that has centered and shaped his life.
1 Peter 4:10–11
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”
