2025 LENT INFO HANDOUT

GOD IS GUIDING...

Our first mid-week Lenten speaker is Matthew Martin. Matthew grew up in Marble Falls and as part of St. Peter’s. He is currently a senior at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in May with a degree in International Relations and a minor in Spanish. Matthew will be reflecting on God as “guiding,” a characteristic of God that has centered and shaped his life.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.

MIDWEEK WORSHIP

6:30-7:00pm - Sanctuary

Mid-week lenten worship is Holden Evening Prayer, a 30-minute meditative worship specially written for the end of the day. As part of worship, we will hear speakers share how they see and have encountered God on The Way of life and faith.

MIDWEEK MEAL OFFERING

The meal goal for the school is $5,000!

AS OF 3/5, OUR MEAL OFFERING TOTAL IS $3,030.

Our Lenten meal free-will offering will again help with extra needs that show up throughout the school year - broken items, professional development opportunities, and supplies that have run dry.

MIDWEEK WORSHIP OFFERING

The mid-week Lenten giving goal challenge this year is $10,000.

AS OF 3/5, OUR WORSHIP OFFERING TOTAL IS: $2,266.

75% will go to provide camperships for our youth going to summer camp.
25% will go to Cross Trails Ministries as part of our synod assembly offering.
